A roundtable session with representatives of several countries that use volunteer forces for prevention and supression efforts, aiming to share the current situation, experiences and lessons learnt, as well as systematise recommendations related to the participation of volunteers in the Integrated Fire Management (IFM) in protected areas.

Portuguese Public Administration on matters relating to Civil Protection, Fire, Security,
Safety, Inspection, Supervision and Economic Police, in the planning, management and
organization, and performance functions at the highest level, as deputy director-general

carrying high responsibility in the qualification of services, restructuring of
organizations and innovation and leadership processes.

Large experience with great wildfire operations, such as Operation Xingú in the years of 2020, 2021 and 2022, as Chief of Planning Section. Skilled in the ICS methodology and coordinating incidents with a vast amount of resources. Proficient in geoprocessing and data analysis applied to wildfire situations. Wildfire instructor and origins investigator. Bachelor of Geography from Fluminense Federal University.
